Grace-Point Fellowship's PARTNER ~ FAIL-SAFE ERA Ministries

In Luke 10:25-37, Jesus uses the example of the Good Samaritan to teach us that true faith expresses itself in love.
Love for God and love for our neighbors.
Jesus presents the Samaritan’s act of mercy to his neighbor, as an example of love in action.
Love and mercy expressed despite cultural, religious, social or racial differences.
Jesus instructs us to “go and do likewise”.
That’s why Grace-Point Fellowship asked the question; “How can we show love and mercy to our neighbors who are incarcerated and are returning to our society and our communities of faith?”
We have partnered with FAIL-SAFE ERA, FAFMOI Ministries (Friends and Family Members of the Incarcerated), community organizations and other ministries to address the issue of mass incarceration and the challenge to the community of faith to show mercy to our neighbors who have paid their debt to society.
Because of Grace Point’s involvement with the SHARE food program we have been able to provide food kits to help families who struggle to put food on the table.
Who is FailSafe-ERA?
Grace-Point Fellowship partners with FAILSAFE-ERA’s Prison Ministry and re-entry program.
FailSafe-ERA Ministries prepares inmates to become spiritual leaders of their families and communities when they reenter society and to be Godly examples while incarcerated. The organization provides support to families affected by incarceration by helping them maintain or reestablish their relationship with God and one another.
FailSafe-ERA MInistry ministers to men and women in the Virginia Department of Corrections facilities and offer’s continued training upon their release.

Grace Point Fellowship shares FAILSAFE-ERA’s Prison Ministry’s goal “to encourage others with the message of hope and love”.
Grace Point and FAILSAFE-ERA Prison Ministry collaborates with Christian Brothers Transition Program and St. Jude Catholic Church to provide and distribute food packages to returning citizens and families of the Incarcerated. Please join us in this partnership of love and mercy.
The Samaritan saw a neighbor to love and help, so he took care of him.
What Jesus said then, He says to us now: “Go and keep on doing it likewise” (literal translation).
