People of the Way Sermon Series
People of the Way is a 10-message Sunday morning preaching series calling us to recover and live out the ancient identity of the early church.
Before followers of Jesus were called ‘Christians,’ they were called People of the Way — a name that described not just what they believed, but how they lived. This series reclaims that identity for a new generation and a new community.
Church, before they were ever called Christians, before there were denominations, before there were steeples, pews, livestreams, or praise teams… there was a people who walked so differently, loved so loudly, lived so boldly, and followed Jesus so completely… that the world had to give them a name.
They called them People of the Way.
Not people of a theory. Not people of a theology. Not people of a tradition. But People of the Way— because their belief shaped their behavior, their identity shaped their activity, their position shaped their practice.
And church, if there was ever a time when the world needed to see a people who walk a different way… it’s right now.
This series is a Resurrection Reset— a call to recover the ancient identity of the early church and rediscover the miraculous identity we have because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
