Week 4 - Always Pursuing
God pursues the lost.
This week’s message is about Jesus coming to earth to pursue, chase down, seek out, search for, and save those who are lost and in need of Him. The clear teaching from Jesus is that the lost – those outside of a relationship with Him – are of great value to Him! In His own words, Jesus states the mission of His life in Luke 19:10 – “ For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Relentless
There is something that constantly pursues us that we can’t ever stop from chasing us…God’s gift of grace. His pursuit is Relentless.
The Prodigal
In the parable of the Prodigal Son, we see a father welcome home his son, who has thrown away his inheritance. This is an inspirational retelling of their story, where we hear what may have been going on in the minds of the father and the son.
I Once Was Lost
Several people recite the words to “Amazing Grace” but insert their personal struggles and victories. No actors were used - all the people and their stories are real. God’s grace changes everything. God’s grace stoops to lift and rescue you and can change your life. We praise God for His life-changing grace. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” – John 3:17
